... would need some ID. I have bumped into it near Lake Gusinoye, Buryatia, Russia. no good resolution imagery, only shape available, but I know some experts around, who will be satisfied by only this.(: fighter wreck lake Gusinoye.kmz (843 B) note, also many other military-operations' scars (trench lines, tent positions...) can be found all around. training site or some recent war conflict I have not heard about? thanks! g __________________________ EDIT: meanwhile the best bet, that this is a Pylon. (Go down this thread for nice explanation by willi1.)

I have no idea but how did you come across this, it's not exactly a clear image?

Hi Neil ! Only tried to spot burial mounds as usual. Perfect GE activity to find every kinds of other stuff. ... (off topic: hey, it is about time to take Santa's hat off... Happy New Year GE Community!)

Syzygy asked for my opinion about this object. Unfortunately, it is not a crashed plane. In fact, it will be a series of masts (high voltage, possibly abandoned) and the object has probably fallen down or an anchor pylon. The "normal" masts are indistinct in GE (better in Bing Maps). If that were an aircraft, it should be more visible (for example, another pylon around 1000 meters away is structurally recognizable). Attachments:Line.kmz (679 B)
