A handful of my followers on YouTube and I have decided we were going to make a Google Earth file of every single military site on earth. All of them.
It's an insanely huge task, but we have been breaking it down, each taking one country at a time. So far, we have several countries finished and hundreds and hundreds of airbases, naval bases, army bases, SAMs, and radars mapped.
The plan is to make all the files available for free on the internet to anyone who wants to check it out.
Let me know if you are interested in contributing! We can use all the help we can get!
Thanks, Covert Cabal

Hi and welcome Covert! it is me who also in such a hard work with my mounds of some 24.600+ placemarks yet, and only few things I would like to mention in this first round: For better handling, sort marks into folders and subfolders e.g. continents/subcontinents/countries and/or use different type (color) marks for different types of sites etc... (you can check my not-so scientific folder structure in kmz attachment of post linked above) Also it always disturbs me when (by high numbers of close placemarks) placemark titles are blocking aerial/satellite imagery, so I set placemark labels to 0% opacity and use quite small icons. High number of placemarks (enabled in the same time) might cause software crash or freeze so always save (and upload here) kmz as every folder off by default. Best and hope to hear from you soon! We stay tuned!... (: g
