Hello After my search for crescent monuments in Morocco which I will post in another thread, I found this : Sun geoglyph.kmz (685 B) I found nothing about it and what is really weird is it is in the middle of an ancient necropolis as we can see dozens of tumulus arount it. The place is Mount Zagora near the city of Zagora. Could it be a new find and could it be related to sun worship knowing it was practiced by the proto berbers , ancestors of actual berbers. Or maybe it is a modern time creation ? What you think?

Hi
There are literally hundreds of tumulus of all kinds and dozens of necropolis on the plateaus boarding most major rivers in the saharan atlas Some are crescent-shaped, other fly shaped , but most of them look like beacons and domes with some very huge. And it appears many are unvisited and unknown to people.

Great post also with those crescents! Thank you share all these around here! No doubt, time has come to add an Africa folder to my mounds.kmz, only some further reference would be good.
Could you provide any closer; some outer source or local info?
