I mean here was garbage on fire (like all around to see). It's a gypsy quarter.  Look here

Also notice smut above some of the windows and balconies - they use some "mixed fuel" heating equipments right trere.

Old iron stoves, wrecked firewood fed boilers, ... whether if it is not the good, old campfire itself that gives warmth in these flats.
