OK, I confess, this is exactly the type of puzzle that is too puzzling for me. I don't know planes. I could never find this myself. But you might. I wouldn't be surprised that you surprise me. No, it's impossible to find (unless it's been done before, which is possible ). So... a little clue: Someone should find it quickly. Then again, I may be wrong. Only satellite image please, the blue dot is too RIS. I didn't want to blur everything.

I recognized the type of airplane immediately, and search of planes of that type around the world led me to the following. I got excited and thought I found it until I looked at the OP again! :-) {NOT The OP Plane}

I'll give an early clue to this one, but first, thank you Utapao for your answer which confirms that someone (you) might find it quickly . If you don't mind, when I give the answer, you will have to tell me what those planes are and where the ones in your image are, because I'll never find out by myself! Now the clue, to combine with all that had already been said: {Spoiler} Near a big airport.

I've found the right airplane model though I don't know airplanes. I've found the relevant list and it was not included. Now it is.

Well done everyone! Answer and more: {Spoiler} maps.app.goo.gl/trk64bE2DSyrn2uK9Utapao allowed me to quote from his PM to me. Very informative, thank you Utapao! Here are some excerpts: "The larger plane is a DC-3 Dakota or Douglas C-47D military version. The DC-3 was really the first majorly successful airplane for passenger service in the US." "So being an ex-airline guy and airplane buff, I immediaately recognized the overhead shot of the plane. Sadly, I turned off the logical side of my brain which might have told me the plane in the OP was just about 40 km down the highway from my house, and I have seen it in person several times. I went off on a tangent Googling DC-3, C-47, "gate guards" (airplanes on static display at military base entrances) and other word searches. I knew it was military because of the blurry circles on each wing, but could not tell what country they represented. And your clue "someone" triggered Jamal in my mind so I spent 10 minutes looking for C-47s in India, and that is where I found the picture I posted: Nadergul Airfield near Hyderabad India. 17°18'34.29"N 78°33'35.59"E. Because of the position of the larger and smaller aircraft I thought "ah ha". Then I realized the landscape was wrong." "The smaller plane in the OP is a Cessna O-1G Bird Dog of the Royal Thai Navy. NOTE: According to a few sites, the larger plane is in use as a guesthouse for max. 3 persons at ThB. 700 per night ($20 USD), with seaview when sitting in the cockpit. By the way. the U-Tapao airport was an American base of sorts during the Vietnam war and not used for much other than some Thai Air Force functions, and storage for some Thai Airways aircraft. About 10-15 years ago a small boutique airline began very minimal service to Phuket and Koh Samui, and about 8 years ago charter flights from China and Russia began swerving the airport. So it is definitely growing (with hopes for it to play a major role in the ASEAN Economic Corridor in the near future), it is really a secondary airport at this time."
