And the aerial photo, quite blurry but when you know what happened, you see it



The Street View image is so outdated that you can even post that.

SV there is dated october 2012

Sorry, I started looking for this but I found myself reading a string of horrific stories and the list was long. Too horrible! There are very wrong things going on in this world. I couldn't take it anymore.

I guess it was, but all I guessed was that you think GM sucks terribly, with its outdated, blurry images.... It can't even properly show the place where the horrific story took place!

So now I included those GPS elements in my search and there are still quite a few stories... I've checked a couple. I'll try again later. Thank you.

OK so I've been searching a few times, and even found some articles with a street name or a small town name, but nothing works. I even found a page with "13 Horror Stories of Google Maps Leading People to Scary Places" but by now I'm feeling too lazy to check them out. And yes, I tried the search with that country too.

I'll wait some more.

The first image wanted to represent that you should not always rely on the navigation offered by Google Maps.
In this case it proved to be fatal.

Yepp, but on the crossing street SV is from May 2023.
You can see, there are already multiple roadblocks there.

No WONDER I couldn't find it, my GM and yours are different! Or you added a blue line that shouldn't be there, but in any case that was enough to throw me off and look for other places (uselessly!).

Thanks for giving me the street name in PM, even with it I had trouble finding it. I was able to thanks to a house number...

You are quite unlucky. I did not manipulate the image, what might have happened is that it just has been corrected yesterday. However unlikely I have no other explanation. 😎🤣😂

That's weird though ! In GE on my phone it's the same. But if I go in SV I can use that road! Yet it doesn't have the blue color showing it's in SV... Is GM trying to hide something? "Conspiracy mode"

A car driver followed the driving instructions on Google Maps and plunged 6 m in a creek because the bridge had been washed away many years ago.
