The SEPECAT Jaguar is a joint development of a twin-jet attack aircraft by Breguet, France, and the British Aircraft Corporation in the 1960s.
A total of 573 units were built over the period 1968–1981 (BAC, Breguet and built under license by the Indian Air Force from Hindustan Aeronautics under the name "Shamsher")
Top speed: 1,699 km/h (1,056 mph; 917 kn) Mach 1.6 at 11,000 m
Primary users : Indian Air Force (still in use), UK Royal Air Force (retired 2014), French Air Force (retired 2005); Royal Air Force of Oman (retired 2014) and Nigerian Air Force (retired 1991)
