res.cloudinary.com/drbrq1k3e/raw/upload/v1682529651/user_uploads/standard/k4djcq1d74noy3i53vkh.kml^^^ KML I don't know any other place to put this so I'll just post it here, feel free to move this post to another board if need be. I've been searching around the Richat Structure recently for fun and have stumbled upon two weird abandoned villages which I have marked in the attached KML. I have been able to get some info on Village 1, but it isn't very suffient, atleast not to me. Village 2 is still a mystery to me, however, and I would like to possibly get some info on what's over there. Either way, here are my findings. I've found two significant sources on Village 1, both are in Arabic. An article: tajkanet.net/%d8%aa%d9%86%d9%8a%d9%82%d9%8a/A video: Google Translate makes the name of the city (تنيقي) all sorts of things, including but not limited to: Tneqi Tiniqi Tineqi Taniqi Taneqi Tniki Techniqi Tniqi Tikni Tekni Tnegi Techini Techni Tanigi Tanqi Ahsymnovetniqi (lmao) Tanighi Tnqi Teniki I don't know the actual translated name (I can't read Arabic ) but if I were to assume, it's probably Tiniqi or Tniqi. If anyone can find more info not only on Village 1, but more so on Village 2 (I've found nothing so far), that'd be greatly appreciated.

here's what I found using the Wikimapia kml database! Village 2 is totally obscure and there's nothing there saying anything. But village 1 is interesting: It is written "Tiniki (ancient settlement)" and around the village there are more places!
Like (translated) Tomb of Muhammad Ali bin Moulay Al-Zein;
Nakhil Muhammad Ali bin Moulay Al-Zein (it's a tomb of the same clan probably);
Douerat locality - Chinguetti province;
Waddan County Marine Center (?? no idea lol, other meaning is navy); Ir Qaiwiya
Wikimapia description: former settlement of the tribes of Ahl Muhammad Moulay Ahmed and Ahl Muhammad Aali link
1st comment on arabic there: I have some plans for the city and some pictures, and I am from this city.
2nd comment on arabic there:
Moulay Al-Zein bin Moulay 22093738 We aim through this old one to get to know the Bahariya Oasis, which was established close to the ancient city of Teneki, and the problems that impede development in this important center in terms of world heritage and Chinguetti in particular, and its location between two historical cities _ Chinguetti and Ouaddan _ Teneki The village of Jikniyeh was founded in the 6th century AH and at the end of the 10th century AH because of: the war was said between them and it was said that there was scarcity of water because of the lack of rain in those years from the end of the tenth century. From the drought in the seventies of the 19th century AD, where the existing wells were permanently stopped, until they were abandoned for years, until the rain usually counted the wells with renewed water, which means that a city cannot live without water today and the warmer times of the past, in which there is no work, whether development or agriculture only The valley is 20 km long and contains agriculture everywhere in it today, and some scattered palm oases. The archaeological side needs support. We suggest fencing the old city and rebuilding some of the walls that still exist. We, the residents of the region, have a fixed program, which is a summer week in During the Kitan period, we specify prizes for some activities, including a competition in the Qur’an, another in walking and hadith, and a race for camels and donkeys. We also have a reconstruction program, which is building a room for each inhabitant on a modern plan in the northern side of the valley, building a leveled and prepared building, and constructing water pits until the water exceeds The surface that causes the departure of the static, a reservoir and a water network in the future. All plans and excavations have been studied
they're made by the same person called مولاي الزين بن مولاي (زائر)
oh and the Geonames kml records wadis and wells here and other minor settlements around here and the 2nd village
