For centuries, men of the mountains - hunters, shepherds, climbers - have told stories of the large creatures who live out there in the mists and silence. Creatures like the Yeti, the Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas; Sasquatch and Bigfoot in North America; the Brockengespenst in Germany and Am Fear Liath Mòr, the Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui. Some say that they are creatures left over from a bygone age, some that they are supernatural beings - and some say that they are but a trick of the light.
