Giving CuriousJM a hand - ANSWER

I don't know if you're aware of this big hand, CuriousJM , but unfortunately it isn't visible in SV or a blue dot. It's behind those glass panels. Obviously I can only show a bit of it here to beat RIS, but you'll see the whole thing soon.

I would use the photo I made of it myself years ago, but there were some people in front of it. 😊

Thank you johnluke for this hand. Till now all the hands in my collection have been outdoors. I am however thinking of including this and a couple of more indoor ones in the collection. 

About few months back a little bird had told me about this hand but I forgot about it. I am thankful to the kind birdie for jogging my memory.

You're welcome CuriousJM . The same little bird told me (after I posted this puzzle) that he had told you about this hand some time ago.

There is another big hand, a fist in fact, made by the same sculptor, same country but not the same city. It is outdoors but not accessible to the public, as it is in a very famous and prestigious military school. So no SV or blue dots. I don't know if you know about it. I haven't seen it in your blog. You may have seen it looking for this one. 🙂

Thanks once again JL. I found the hand and also found its picture in old Panoramio as well in Google Maps Photo. I will definitely include it in the collection. Here is its (not very clear) GM 3D image.

This is La main de César, by Sculptor César (César Baldaccini), in Lille, in a métro station (near a hospital where I've been a few times... but that's another story).

César also designed the French equivalent of the Oscar (the Academy Award statuette), which we call "le César", as it conveniently rhymes with l'Oscar in French. Sheer plagiarism if you ask me. 😁
