Tempelhof shortly before being captured by Russian forces in late April, 1945. Again, beware of photograph date stamps. The assembly sheds have now disappeared, and the field shows signs of artillery and bomb damage. New blast pens have been constructed at the south end of the field, one of these seems to contain a FW 200 'Condor' (?) The dimensions fit a 'Condor'. SPECULATION (Hitler's Condor was destroyed by Allied bombing at Tempelhof on July 18, 1944). There are now FLAK positions around the field. Set time slider to 1945.
