And if you're referring to the one about Google, it doesn't apply to Wikipedia, which has an article about this kind of route, and another article about this particular one. You're welcome. 😉

{Spoiler}There's an article about this kind of routes in Wikipedia, and another one about this specific route. It's more than 5,000 km long. The buildings at the start and finish are in the same category of buildings.

The routes in this group of routes are numbered. This one is a one digit low number (I masked it in the european flag in the first image). The route is in the map in the first clue.

 i encountered a few "questions" (to not say "problems")...
1) "loooooong" for instance: for the specialists of such bicycle treks, a trek inside a country is a "short" one (100-1000 km), a trek in europe is a "medium" one (1000-5000 km), a trek across continents is a "long" one (5000+ km)! so i searched for true long treks... sigh!...
(of course, a bicycle trek of 5 km is already a long one for me!)
2) the european flag looks to me like a frontier: in my searches, it was perfect between europe and türkiye
my question is, why a flag ON the trek ad not next to it (not/less ambiguous)?!
3) the map: why no compass?!

my starting point:

the trek could start in the NL, denmark, UK, etc.

finally:

... finish are in the same category of buildings.

well, to be honest, your 2 captures have nothing in common but the bicycles!

well, to be honest, your 2 captures have nothing in common but the bicycles!

1) I assumed, maybe wrongly, that not everybody in this forum is a "specialist" of long distance cycling. Wikipedia assumes the same thing about its readers, and calls it long distance too, as do many other articles outside wiki. 5,000 km cycling is looooong.

2) Because it's not only a flag. Something was masked IN the flag. What could this thing be? Also, what cycling route would be on a frontier for a very long distance ? 

3) To make things a bit more difficult. 😁 Also, the shape of the route is easily recognised once you find the map of routes in Wikipedia. 

Finally :

True, but once you know the name of the finish town, and the nickname of this particular route, you can guess what buldings they are. I found one article that has that information too. 😊
