Villa Cheminée - an unusual cottage atop a 16 metre (about 52.5 ft.) tall chimney, which is a replica of the larger chimney of a nearby thermal power plant in Cordemais, France. The chimney and the cottage were designed by Japanese designer Tatzu Nishi as a part of the "Estuaire: Landscape, Art And The River" project, a collection of open-air works that offer a spectacular view of the estuary of the River Loire and its reed beds.
The cottage is accessible through stairs inside the chimney, which lead to an outer platform, and thereafter to the cottage through iron stairs on the outside of the chimney. The cottage is rented as a bed and breakfast, and, as per Tripadvisor, it is ranked in the top 5 of the most unusual accommodations in the world.
