Gunnery domes are rare survival of a type of wartime RAF building from WWII which was once common. It was used for anti aircraft shooting practice by "shooting" at projected images. The dome on RAF Langham, which is accessible as a museum, is well preserved and listed. 52.936607° 0.967617°
Further domes are e.g. are preserved at RAF Pembrey ( 51.709572° -4.306164°), RAF Wyton ( 52.350293° -0.113343°) and former Limavady Airfield ( 55.068693° -6.934339°)
