Loberas are historical wolf traps which were used in the Iberian Peninsula and in Central and South America. They have been mentioned in writing since the 15th and 16th centuries. They consist of two funnel-shaped converging guide walls, at the end of which there is a pitfall that the wolves can't get out of.
Today, associations have formed that want to preserve these traps as cultural heritage. In my collection I have some places in Portugal and Spain and Chile as well.
