The beautiful city of Oporto is full of street art and murials.
For example the portrait of Augustina Bessa Luís. She was a world famous writer from here.
Or this painting named "AN.FI.TRI.ÃO" which is the grandpa of the known Portugese street art artist Frederico Draw.
I liked this monumental Don Quixote in Rua Miguel Bombarda.

Because I reached the attachment limit for the former post, the next are here:
On the other side of the Douro River, in the neighbour city of Vila Nova de Gaia, you find this wonderful giant "Half Rabbit". This sculpture by the Portuguese artist Bordallo II, is made half of paint and half of garbage.
The facade of Steak 'n Shake is created by the well known Portugese artist Joana Vasconcelos.
This political statement, made by KILOS, was the funniest I saw there. Attachments:Trump.kmz (714 B)

These works are great! I've always wondered who paints such incredible pictures on the street. Who are all these artists, and why do they not declare themselves? I am sure that their paintings would have enjoyed great success. I also wonder how they can draw this in one night and why the police don't catch them. I probably have too many questions and few answers, but one thing I can say is that I adore art, and no matter where I see a beautiful work, I will always support the artist. I would love to get acquainted with one of these street artists and would ask to have several of these paintings printed for me based on his works, and I think it's best for me to turn to beyondprint.co.uk/.
