Here is a small sampling of WW2 radar towers that played a role in the Battle of Britain. Three of them (Bawdsey, Rye and Swingate) appear in the 1945 photos. Ventnor shows no trace of its war-time towers. (Censored?) Almost all of these artifacts have disappeared.
