Please let me know if you spot any Amazonian Mound Villages. Yes, they are a real thing.
This article, Geometry by Design: Contribution of Lidar to the Understanding of Settlement Patterns of the Mound Villages in SW Amazonia, a great place to start, provided some useful site names for places I was labeling the generic "mounds village." Also, the bibliography is not only one of the best current listings on geoglyphs, there are a lot of direct links to the citations.
I'll add a mound villages folder to the next Amazon Geoglyphs KML update (coming soon) which might surpass 1,000 sites, about double the number in my current online version. Yeah, that's how long I've put off that chore, but I'm working on it. I've got them placemarked, just need to add them. Attached KML has four I just found in Espirito Santo, Rondonia. The article above lists a bunch of UTM coordinates, just prefix them with 19 L to see them in Google Earth.
