Interesting. Version 7.3.3.7786 (64-bit) is still active for me. For a few days, outdated folders have also been displayed in the layers. Probably related to the new version. Usually, GE pro always updated itself automatically for me. Is that also the case with version 7.3.4 or do you have to take care of it yourself?

Is that also the case with version 7.3.4 or do you have to take care of it yourself? I never get it automatically updated. In time, I remember, I turned an option off somewhere. I too have the "outdated" folders for some time. They are still there in the new version. Hopefully, the new folders will contain more correct or comprehensive information, not in this version but in a near future. For anyone interested, here is the help forum topic about the layer modifications: support.google.com/earth/thread/117926669/borders-places-and-roads-are-labeled-as-outdated?hl=en

The new release features a number of improvements.....I'm running Google Earth Pro 7.3.4.8248. Did the Google Earth Community placemarks get deleted? These were an important tool for a research project. Wikipedia is still there, in the More folder. Gallery is now a folder with no subfolders.

No, the blue i's are in the Gallery folder but links to the posts are broken since the old forum is closed. Although fixed later on, there have been reports on missing layers on Mac. Please, report it if it is the case: link

Many times I have to server log out / log in because of layers freezing (roads, borders, photos either ways), also many times I have experienced the same "Gallery (or other) layer with no dropdown arrow for subfolders" problem.
A restart or server logout usually helps.
