I once visited this fortress years ago. The visitors center was closed, as I was told when purchasing my ticket at the cafe, due to an unfortunate circumstance where two employees were confused about who was to work that day to open the center and neither showed up. But, I had a great historical education about the fortress with many re-enactors present who were happy to give me all the historical background.
There are many blue dots and street views. Blue dots inside the fortress are probably RI'able. Prefer the satelllite image or close up of the exterior walls.

CLUE
{Spoiler} The fortress was built in the 18th Century and that end of that century was auctioned after being active in two wars. The design of the fort conforms to the style developed early in the 18th century by a French military engineer.

Thanks for the clue. I was at this location 2 days ago and didn't see the fortress as it was below my view in GE.
I've learned to zoom out instead of taking a quick glance.

Last Clue.
{Spoiler} The fort was used as a prisoner of war camp and as many as 1,000 captured British and German soldiers were incarcerated there.
