The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod ( Wiki) was a military development of the de Havilland Comet commercial jet airliner. It entered RAF service in 1969 and was finally retired in 2011. A total of 51 aircraft, including 2 prototypes, were built. 9 complete aircraft currently survive, along with 1 trailer mounted forward fuselage. The only changes I would expect to happen in this collection would be an update to the location of XV244 and the destruction of XV229 which currently sits on the Manston fire dump. Lots of Nimrod's can be found in historic imagery, but I believe these are the only ones in current imagery. Anyone knows differently, then let me know. Cheers, Sean.
