Bad news for blues fans. B. B. King, 89-year-old blues musician, was just released from a Las Vegas hospital. He was there for treatment for dehydration and because he was not eating. Tests showed he had suffered a possible heart attack, as well. King is now in home hospice care, which usually means there is no further treatment that would require hospitalization and his prognosis is not good. He has had Type II diabetes for many years.
King is one of the last living giants of the blues and is adored by rockers like the Rolling Stones. Here's why (turn up your volume and enjoy this masterpiece):
