Following on from the post by willi1 and my reply about HU-16 visible in GSV, I decided to finally finish my HU-16 collection and publish it. There are 82 full or partial aircraft in the file (1 aircraft appears twice). There are a handful of wrecks in the scrapyards adjacent to Davis Monthan that I haven't included. Also, there are a few in Greece, which can't be seen due to the pixilation of imagery at their airbases. All of the aircraft in the collection are identified by either civil or military registration and construction number. They are not divided into any separate folders, but rather shown in construction number order. 82 out of 464 made is not bad, but it could be better. So if you know of one I've missed, please let me know either here or by DM. EDIT: 30-Apr-2021 - Another 2 aircraft added in Caldwell, ID and Dutchess County, NY. Now 80 in the collection.
EDIT: 02-May-2021 - Another 2 aircraft added in Kelso Longview, WA. Now 82 placemarks in the collection.
EDIT: 12-May-2021 - Another aircraft added in Wasilla, AK (141278 on c/n G-425). Now 83 placemarks in the collection.
Cheers, Sean.

A little bit of digging and a lot of scrolling and zooming has increased the collection from 58 to 76.
Almost all the aircraft in Greece are listed as "hidden", due to the pixilation of imagery, but a look back in the historic layer will confirm the locations.
KMZ in first post updated.
Cheers, Sean.

Another one found in Florence, South Carolina.
I believe it is 51-7212 on c/n G-286, which was formerly located in the now defunct Florence Air and Missile Museum.
Both engines and most control surfaces missing. Been in roughly the same place for 20 years.
KMZ in first post updated. Now 78 placemarks in the collection.
Cheers, Sean.

Both do move around in the historic imagery, proving they are active.
KMZ in first post updated. Now 80 placemarks in the collection.

2for1 deal this time. Sitting side by side in Kelso Longview, WA. HU-16B (51-025/N44HQ on c/n G-99) G111 (51-7249/N121FB on c/n G-339) N44HQ is already in the collection at it's home base in Nevada. Both aircraft are visible in SV, which made the ID fairly straightforward. N121FB seems to be having the starboard prop either removed or refitted. KMZ in first post updated. Now 82 placemarks in the collection. Cheers, Sean.
