Nice panoramic view (but I don't have the patience to reproduce it) .. A part of it:

Kind of similar to standing on the river bank of the Danube somewhere in Budapest, but it is not.

An ENTIRE day searching for this, my girlfriend helped me. At 20:15 she said "we find this or I am not cooking dinner" And I have just earned a delicious dinner

This panoramic view has everything: a fort, a bridge, a dome, a city, water, towers, interesting buildings of all kinds, people. One would think that would be enough. Well, not tonight. I tried many places. Can't find it. Maybe this image has in fact too many things. OK, back to the easy ones now.

Duh. I don't mind not finding it when I know I could never have found it, but when I could and I don't, it really annoys me. Anyway, here it is.

CLUE : CLUE : In the past, this city has been a capital of a very big "country". (And I read somewhere, it had had not less than 14 different names through History !) Incidentally, this guy died in the searched city ! (But he is not the one who gave his name to the city !)
