I need help!
I had google earth and my database transferred to a new computer. The copy is not as crisp the writing looks like it has been photocopied. Also I cant get rid of the annoying YELLOW place names, and yes I have uncheck marked them. It also wont let me change my thumbtacks when I am marking an area. What's going on?
Any advice would be well appreciated.

You say ""I had google earth and my database transferred to a new computer.""Was it a New install of Google Earth or was is transferred using a Backup / Restore utility.. The Backup may have been Corrupted .. Was the old PC a 32bit and your New PC a 64bit? My Suggestion if you have your Old Drive is Copy the My Places file to a flash drive. Uninstall Google Earth on your New PC and Download a new Version. Download Google Earth Making sure that is the Correct Ver. 64 or 32 Bit. Then Import your Myplaces file back from the Flash Drive
