Well, you can check previous community markings enabling GEC layer on a desktop version Google Earth (Layers/Gallery/Google Earth Community), but it won't tell you whether your spotting has also been discovered by others meanwhile or not.

Also do not forget, that millions of users keep browsing imageries of various map-engines in every second of the day, so as a matter of fact you never can be sure, that you are the first one who spotted that something or not.

Really the best you can do is to share your spotting(s) here, so we can look into it.
