You can read the illustrated proposal on this page: LaGuardia Direct Route - or view the explanatory

Here is the KMZ file, for viewing in Google Earth:
LAGUARDIA DIRECT - One-Seat Ride.kmz (1.47 MB)
INSTRUCTIONS
Download the file to a convenient location. To open in Google Earth, double-click the file. In Google Earth, the file and it's sub-files will be located under "Places" in the Google Earth Sidebar. All the files that have just been opened by double-clicking (including of course the one you just opened) will be located under the heading "Temporary Files" at the bottom of the "Places" category in the sidebar.
(It might help to navigate to "Layers" located under "Places" in the Sidebar, and uncheck the box next to "Primary Database" at the top. That way the individual items can be activated separately and won't hog you bandwidth. Or, deactivate all the files individually under "Layers" if no "Primary Database" tic box exists.)
When you go to close Google Earth you'll get a prompt asking if you want to save the LAGUARDIA DIRECT files (so they'll open and fly to their set Starting Location when you re-launch Google Earth.) If you have other KMZ files in Google Earth currently you may want to decline, then save your existing files separately.
Near the top of the tree of the LAGUARDIA DIRECT files in the sidebar, you will see a few unchecked items. The first one is a black marker with the text: "6/2019". To activate imagery that is more compatible for viewing LAGUARDIA DIRECT, double-click the file (it's not necessary to tic the box) and hopefully you will get the intended imagery. If the resulting imagery is inconsistent or blurry, you may want ta adjust the imagery selection yourself. The object is to find imagery that is both clear and dark, so the lines of the drawing can be seen against it. This is accomplished by activating "Historical Imagery" and rifling through the stored imagery. The ELEVATIONS & MEASUREMENTS file (also unticked) shows the various grades and their locations in the drawing. (Performing the division in the markers with a forward-slash in the caption gives you the percent grade of the indicated segment times 100.)
