The poor little boy and the hungry dog are very sad! Why would people dump garbage around a phone?

The poor little boy and the hungry dog are very sad!... Few days ago my little daughter - quite the same age as the boy on SV - had some "serious problems" with style and colors as clothing in the morning. Then I showed her this poor SV boy from Brazil and meanwhile we have talked some about this sad picture, we could quickly dress up and leave off to school in time without any further words on clothing. Also since seldom she has problems with her gardrobe. ... Damn! - Billions of such little angels live that way all around the Globe.... When did mankind turned to such a damn wrong direction?

just do not dare to think, ...but can this be a real dead man in a glazed coffin with glass screen, displayed on crowded Manila streets...? is it a local tradition of vigilance we see here or just a "harsh" product advertisement with a wax figurine? - Zoom in on StreetView and check for yourselves! GMaps SV linkLooks way too real for me... just as the lit candles and the name plate at the right: Anthony F. Talusig The man does not look old. And the two person in the foreground? Relatives? ... My heart goes bitter to think that little girl in that sweet, purple, disney-princess t-shirt is who just has lost her father... (I have a daughter, quite the same age.) kmz file for GE attached (you might need (some) doubleclicks to enter SV position): dead man in glass coffin - Manila.kmz (948 B) *** About these Manila streets in general: distressing level of poverty and extremely high number of very young children everywhere.

I am confident that is real. The Philippines is fiercely Roman Catholic and, like Mexico and other Central/South American countries, it is expressed with high drama and maximum color. Yes, the children...it is not uncommon for families to have10 or more children while not being able to feed, clothe or educate them. The Church in the Philippines has a lot of social power and encourages the high birth rate, a very cruel practice, in my opinion, in a country covered by slums. The president, Rodrigo Dutarte, is a violent dictator who rules one of the most corrupt governments in the world. Ah well, I've gotten off-topic and onto my soap box, sorry.
The slums in Manila are very interesting on Street View. The magnitude of poverty there is shocking, yet we "wealthier" countries think mainly of India, Bangladesh, and African countries as being poor.

Another "nest of misery", by this time from Kassa (Kosice), Slovakia, Mid-Eastern Europe. GMapsSV linkNo one seem to take care (or even to notice) that small infant laying on the presumably not too warm, sure filthy pavement. If you follow GSV path to the right, looking back you will see that the small child keeps laying there all the time while GSV cab leaves the street. (I would point out here, that I do not think the child is in trouble - Only draws something or plays with pebbles...) Also many more sad details of poverty all around - smoke, thrash and hopelessness everywhere... 7 years of fire heating and littering do the effect as it becomes visible on SV: 2012:2019:The neighborhood BTW are calling themselves 'wolves' - as can be read on Slovak language inscription from 2019 on the top of the main panel-ribbon: (Teenagers') Greetings from Luník IX! Toddlers' greetings still look to be some more honest as they wawing to the GSV cab. Also would like to add, this is a cohesive and cooperating community of people with their own system of rules (for survival). On the nearby creek for example, some kind of a carpet cleaning campaign is on the way. - Some splashing around for the youngest accepted of course. By this one I have stopped for a while, but have no better idea than what we see here is a well organized lice removal appointment. Youngsters (with attendance) are waiting for lice removal disciplinedly: Again here, somewhat bigger (still very young) children are selecting trash for pieces of further use. Pity, only the wind copes with, what is left... ) : *** In 2011 it counted 6032 residents - 3417 romani, 1966 slovak and 70 hungarian. (Not) all the rest, you'd to know about it:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lun%C3%ADk_IX

Syzygy, I have toured this place on SV and as many European Romani communities as I can find. It's difficult, because if I am able to find a name, the places are not often covered by SV, I suspect because the drivers, being local, do not want to show slums or are perhaps afraid to drive through them. The most fascinating one I "drove through" was a very long highway in (I think) Romania. It was quite well-kept compared to the one you have pictured. It's posted here, somewhere. I recall seeing other imagery of the housing and grounds much cleaner, maybe in the historical imagery.

I have found 2 places from Bulgaria: a post by you about Bochkovo Bride Fair and a "funny" (?) spotting by me from Elba Street, Plovdiv.
