Wow, without such a tiny bit of information it is totally impossible but with this very small detail given it is so easy.

Well done krenek, Walter, hhgygy and Bridgeplayer The story - Memorial to a Starling, Knockrome, Jura The plaque on the side of this post box reads... "In loving memory of MRS STARLING whose home this was between 2003 and 2008. She raised many little starlings here and defaced many intrusive letters before laying herself to rest in 2009 back in her own home, No 1 post box, Knockrome, her lifes work done." © Copyright Ian Andrews

I would like to know the keywords which led to this location. I had tried various permutations and combinations of; Bird/Starling Nest/Nesting Red/Royal Mailbox. Though I found at least 3 news items relating to these keywords but none of these pertained to the image in OP. However today when I searched for <Memorial to Starling letter box> I immediately found the answer.

One of the results of my starling in postbox search in Google images was an image on Geograph. As you know, that means 100% success. However, before finding that, I was stuck for some time with a different starling in the same type of postbox on a different Scottish island, the Isle of Mull.
I seem to have the same kind of problem with the iron hands sculpture in Sweden. Even the clue hasn’t helped so far.

Thanks bridgeplayer. I not only got Isle of Mull but also got one in Orkney and another one in Duton Hill near Dunmow. But didn't get this one earlier.

It is, I believe, one of the pitfalls of Google. I read about the postbox then I attempted to 'find it', like we do. But because I had already read several results in my initial research, Google kindly put it first on my results list. Falsely assuming thereafter that it is a fairly easy challenge. Sorry
