google support community question

Hi, I appreciate this is not a Google facility. I am trying to get some information from their support and wanted to use the "Community" question where someone has already asked a related question, but cannot see any way to actually sign up to join it! Any suggestions please? 

The actual question by the way is that I want to show a measured path (GE Pro on Windows 10), with a terrain profile. When the terrain profile box is ticked it zooms out to make the image useless.  How do I stop this happening?
