I'm updating Streetview in Flight collection right now (there's a HUGE, world-wide 2021 unannounced imagery update), but once I finish that, I'll update this one! Going on vacation the next three weeks though, so may take a bit longer. Both files should be updated by mid-July

Hi there! I'm new to this community and I'm thrilled to have finally found you guys! The website I used to go to that had a database of airplanes in flight is sadly no longer active for several years now, and I've been looking for a new home ever since. I have a huge, I mean HUGE collection that I've been working on for years, which I will happily share. I would say that about 25% of these were found by me, but the rest have been gathered from various locations, by googling and watching videos etc, as I'm sure many of you do as well, so you will likely have most of these already. I'm about to add the ones from this thread to my collection as well. Thank you so much in advance!!! Before I start adding these though, I have saved my collection as it is without those from this thread. I'm sorry I don't know the types of planes or anything, so I've just categorized them by location, naming them after the nearest town or landmark. I've saved them at the proper historical imagery, but have noticed that sometimes it doesn't save properly for some reason, so all the dates are in the descriptions. I'll add new ones to the thread as I find them, as I've seen others doing, yes?   Looking forward to many new discoveries! Cheers! ~Ravey

I'm in the process of merging in all these great new ones to my existing collection, and I'm realizing something... 

I had started my own collection long before I even knew that finding aircraft in flight on Google Earth was a thing that other people did too. When I downloaded the database from the old forums, I had no idea that I'd ever be sharing my collection with others, or that I would ever be exporting my collection for anyone to see. So I was a very bad girl, and I renamed and reorganized EVERYTHING from there to match the format I was using for my own finds, and mixed. them. all. together.  Going forward, I'm saving the info that Spider has included in all the placemarks, (this is turning out to be a big job, replacing my old tags with the new ones) but I'm realizing that going through my entire collection looking for new ones will be a HUGE undertaking!   

So Spider, I understand if you don't even want to touch it the way it is right now. I'll figure out how to go through it all myself and separate the ones that would be new to this collection here, and tag them accordingly. If you'd rather wait for that, I can repost those at a later date. I don't expect anyone to have the time or patience to undo everything I did in there. 

So for now, until I figure all that out, I can just post new ones I find that aren't in the collection I downloaded from here yesterday, and some from before that I know are mine, after I verify that they haven't been found as well.

[EDIT: several hours later] -Yeah... the more I think about it... you should just ignore the attachment on my original post. There's just too much intermingling, and it would be like finding needles in haystacks for you to pick out the new ones. (I wish I'd known then what I know now.) I'm currently going through, tag by tag, and replacing "old" ones with "new" ones. Once I'm done, I will go back through it and pick out the unique ones. It's just way too much. I'll remove the collection attachment and repost it once I've cleaned it up for you.

As mentioned in the private thread we have, RaveyThirteen, I'd love to hand this over to you (and willi1 if you want to duo-manage or something), as I realistically don't have the time to manage all these collections (plus the new ones I'm working on).
