I have no excuse for reposting this placemark. I made it back in 2007 for Stimpy622 to add to his collection, because in the map of the tiny world of my child's brain, the structure was one of the most impressive landmarks. I often walked past it on my way to our family's church, and even after steam was replaced with diesel and the UPRR shops were closed, it continued to loom huge and vacant for many years.
I gussied it up a bit, back in 2012, while I was waiting to Google Groups to get going, but haven't done any revision since then, and moving it over here it can be just another one of my posts for people not to read.
If nothing else, the picture above can give a hit to the answer to the trivia question I posed in my post on the Ume Koji Steam Locomotive Museum.
