The Blaauboschkraal stone ruins, also known as Adam's Calendar, are located northeast of the RSA. Officially, they are regarded as the remains of structures created by people who populated the region in the 16th century. The stone rings probably served as enclosures for cattle. Alternative theories exist from foreign or old origins. The most prominent proponent of an alternative origin, the politician Michael Tellinger, calls the site "Adam's Calendar" and claims that it is the oldest man-made place in the world that Enki built 300,000 years ago as an ancient calendar.
