Here my new idea for a puzzle 
I will publish just a picture of a very vast landscape, without saying anything else. You need to use your intuition, detect informations like geology, vegetation, morphology, buildings, etc... and figure out where on earth it could be.
I intentionally included the compass inside the image, because that will help you.
