Nice find. I think that's an image-duplicate, or whatever it's called. I can't remember why that happens with planes on GE, something to do with the satellite recording the motion. Anyone remember how it was explained on the oGEC??

The reason is that every satellite image is actually a combination of different images. Objects that move quickly can be seen twice or even more than once in an area. Or, on the other hand, through the image overlay only as a shadow ("spirit"). Like here, for example, a helicopter flying close to the water. Attachments:Heli flight.kmz (689 B)
