Urban growth

Hello everyone, 

I was looking at Google Earth Pro images that could describe the urban growthing in Lima, Peru. 

I found a interesting image where we can see the new routes built by the population (see attached images). 

I ask you all, do you have similar images about this topic?

I'd be glad if u can share these images, detailing the cities where they from.

if you zoom in on densely populated urban areas anywhere on GE (desktop) and check Time-Slider tool, you can detect such growth patterns by good chances.

also NASA-EO pages often bring cool image-comparsions of satellite imageries of past and present, as they did in this most recent article on the subject:

now another example from Mali, Africa:

as diane9247 recently has liked the Timbuktu joke, I have opened my attached kmz and surprised to see the contours of the town just as if were expanded since I have seen it last time... 

have checked GE Time-Slider and this was the result:

worth check annually changes between 1984-2016 on GE historical imagery!
