Wow, a serious weapon, is it a shotgun? I came across a police (or military - it was hard to tell) action in Rio de Janeiro SV a few years ago. I doubt I'll ever find it again, or perhaps it's been removed. If I find it I'll add it here.

EDIT 6/17/19: Can't believe I found the same street...but it's an updated image, so the police action is gone.

No, but that's a good find, too. "Mine" was a complete crime scene happening as the SV car drove by, a couple of men on the ground with guns pointed at them and another cop looking around the corner...like a TV show! When I was driving my way all over Rio there were many neighborhood police stations with men (and the occasional woman) out on the sidewalk with guns drawn, rather than holstered.

This has turned into a fascinating thread, Willi. Another excellent place to find armed guys might be Manila, Philippines, which is well covered by SV.
