HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08) at sea.

It took years for the first aircraft carrier to get captured at sea. Sadly I wasn't the first to find one!

So to find the newly commissioned HMS Queen Elizabeth at sea so early on in her career is quite amazing.


Sadly it's not the clearest of images but with the design being as unique as we Brits are renowned for, she is easily identified.

I see her sister ship HMS POW is fitting out at Rosyth in the latest imagery.

Aye, she's slowly getting there. The planes will come soon enough.

In an emergency they will just get on with it.

Did you know that Italy are also building a new carrier?
