I have seen these patters for years, and have just as long, wondered what this is. Is it some kind of test fields for different types of corn or anything ? They can be found several places "all over" the US Strange patterns.kmz (775 B)

They can be found several places "all over" the US Center-pivot irrigation (sometimes called central pivot irrigation), also called water-wheel and circle irrigation, is a method of crop irrigation in which equipment rotates around a pivot and crops are watered with sprinklers.
