Well done, krenek, CuriousJM and Utapao !
The Solution:
This sculpture, called reCARstruction, is a huge ball made from parts of a Jeep Grand Wagoneer from 1983. The car was completely disassembled, then rearranged to take the form of a nine foot diameter ball. The motor housings, rockers and gearwheels were turned inside out so that they appear on the surface of the sculpture. The strange artwork was created in 2009 by artist Keny Marshal. He installed it near the side of the parking lot next to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum it belongs to. 40°27'09.56" N 80°00'27.49" W
