Tragic aircraft accident in Switzerland on 4 August 2018. One of the 3 machines of the Swiss Ju-Air type Ju-52 / 3m, the HB-HOT, crashed down during a passenger transfer from Locarno to Dübendorf southeast of Martinsloch / Piz Segnas (Switzerland) , All 20 inmates were killed. The cause is still unknown.
The crashed Junkers Ju 52 / 3m g4e was built in Dessau by Junkers and put into service on October 4, 1939 at the Swiss aviation troops with the identification A-702. On October 15, 1982, she was given to Ju-Air, and registered on July 29, 1985 as HB-HOT.
This is the first serious accident with a JU-52 since 1951 in Europe.
In SV she may be seen in Dübendorf, in the time she wore the advertising painting of the suitcase company RIMOWA.
