La Cholla Airpark is a community and private airpark, located 13 km northwest of Tucson, Arizona. The more than 100 residential buildings are grouped around a 1,400 meter long runway. One of the buildings is probably unique in the world. The dream of Toshikazu Tsukii was to become an engineer, architect and aviator. He successfully reached everyone, working as a Raytheon engineer, commercial pilot and flight instructor and fulfilling the dream after designing and building his aircraft-home. He took two Quonset Hut™ kits, parts of discarded Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747 jets and military aircraft (the huge junkyard for aircraft in Tucson is not far away) to create his special home in 4 years.

Nice post, Willi. This is amazing, I would love to see what the looks like - made from airplane galleys, no doubt. Some great photos of the Airplane Guest House from Flying Magazine.
