Well I already looked around to figure it out, and couldn't find anything relating to mines, ranges, bases or anything else here in Moffat County, Colorado. Please forgive me for not using .kmz files. I have a very difficult time with them and Chrome/Mac, with the importing and exporting, and then trying to figure out where they are to delete them. It used to be so simple. Picture 1: 40.753775, -108.053066 It just looks to be a bizarre place. First there is this is this circular area. It does look to have some manmade structures in there. But all those lines (roads?) radiating out from it almost look like Colorado's version of the Nazca lines. Are they roads? Or are they some Google Earth overlays? How, and why are they so perfectly straight that they don't even warp with the terrain? Picture 2: 40.812438, -108.059548 Next is this that looks like it was target practice for something. Or maybe something geological is going on here? Yellowstone activity south bubbling up maybe? Picture 3: 40.748897, -107.969923 This building too, is baffling, being way out here in the middle of nowhere. Do you think anything of significance goes on in any of these places?

some mineral (gas, oil, or e.g. geothermal) exploration and/or mining. / example oil pump at 40.777074, -107.851951 large scale surveying methods cause such long, straight, linear features on the ground. ...baffling, being way out here in the middle of nowhere. notable fact, that usually large oil/gas fields are situated in such remote places, in the mid of nowhere. To be more precise these are actually situated under the mid of nowhere...(:

In my opinion, are Your Pict. 1 and 2 agricultural areas (rangeland?). Such areas (here 1.5 sqmi) like 1 are often seen. From a central place (usually with water point / potions) are lanes for vehicles that end at the border (probably fenced). I guess cattle herds. Nearby are also accommodations (temporarily used?) to see. There is also a old wind pump on the ground. Pict. 2 is similar 1 , it exist ar kind of corral at the place. Pict. 3 is certainly an oil well.
