Tilberthwaite Gill

I was out walking in the English Lake District a couple of weeks ago and took this picture of Tilberthwaite Gill.

The walk continued to a one of the smaller Lakeland Fell's called Blake Rigg.

This offered a really good view of one of the larger Lakeland Fells called Wetherlam.

Thanks for the welcome Syzygy  .  

And thank for the Wainwright links too - I'm a big fan of his pictorial guides!  They contain lots of hand drawn maps and 3d diagrams of the fells produced in the 1950s and 60s before the days of computers!  It's a shame he died before Google Earth came on the scene as I'm sure it would of been of interest to him.
