Such a tool would allow the viewer to put rivers in the bottoms of valleys where they belong, instead of on the sides of cliffs.
If a pattern is seen where many users are shifting the terrain a certain way, the correction should be fed into the system.
There are technical problems to be overcome with automating the process. As the software improves the problems will be overcome. Until AI does it better, we need to crowd-source the process.
- A tool to drag the elevation data (within limits) while leaving the satellite photo stationary, or vice versa.
