Why did no one try to solve this one? imho because your puzzle (as i understood it) and your clues lead to 100s of places only in california... + for instance: Technically this is on google street view, but in reality its off street. Its the longest stretch of off street I've ever seen on google street view, and Way in the back i'm still wondering what you're talking about ("longest stretch", "off street") since your location ( SV link) is in the middle of the town of fremont and the length of the street is about 100 m?!? see ya!

I'm not sure why you think no one tried to solve it. The post has been viewed 160 times. I assumed it was in California, since most of your puzzles are...so thought this might be easier for me. As the original post talked about longest off street, etc., I assumed California/hiking/outdoors/nature. I spent nearly 6 hours spread over 2 days going up and down the Pacific Coast Trail, Yosemite trails, Lake Tahoe area, Sonoma, Muir Woods, etc. looking at parking lots, and I tried to make something out of "Way" and "ramble". As with your other puzzles that mentioned a "watershed" that went right over my head, your very detailed explanation about the dormant redwoods, had a similar effect on me....my eyes glazed over. Several of our members seem to show up on Sundays, so perhaps the might have had more success. Most members on this forum are much, much better global detectives than I. I think I'm more of a 20,000 foot guy. Once the subject matter gets too specialized or technical, regardless of what it is (unless it's airlines/airplanes/airports because of my past career), I'm not one of the superstars on here. Thanks!
