Purple Lotus Buddhist School is a K–12 school located in Union City, California. It was founded in July 1997. The school has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The tall tree s a Cryptomeria japonica. Japanese Redwood, which they call red cedar but its not a cedar. Everything about this species says Redwood.
