The Gabarus-Louisburg road is the oldest European construction in Nova Scotia. It dates from the early 18th century and was closed in 1967. Because it offers a shorter and more scenic route to the fortress, local residents are attempting to clear over-grown sections and re-open the route.

Brill!! Resurrect one of the oldest European constructions in the province and possibly Canada by local residents and friends should find acceptance. Preservation of a physical structure is important for succeeding generations. Thank you for the clues, I appreciate it.
