no witty puzzle, only my usual asking for help: the all was beginning with this thread -also a puzzle itself- and somehow I ended up by this tree I would like to locate still. The "Hurricane Tree" by Swedish Photographer Jocke Berglund: " Flying over Småland photographing the devastation, Jocke – who specializes in aerial photography – saw this ‘remarkable oak tree print’. It formed partly by the storm brush of nature and partly by the impact on the soil of the forestry machines retrieving logs. ‘It’s as if the heavens had sent a message to the forest industry reminding them that, in this area, deciduous trees would have withstood the winds much better than pine. ..." / more from source/ Trees were erased by heavy winds of Cyclone Gudrun in 2005. one seems sure(?), that Småland -mentioned in several sources- is to sign Småland province, not the small vicinity to N. thanks all doing a try!

I doubt that it’s in Småland, which is a province to the south of Stockholm. In an interview with Expressen, Berglund says that he came flying in from Dalarna - a province to the northwest of Stockholm.

yep have seen that confusing statement, but then what Småland they mention more often? ... The Swedish hamlet is only four or five houses, even the Swedish Wikipedia doesn’t mention it, whereas the province of Småland is quite famous. But I take Berglund’s own description, i.e. a flight from Dalarna to Stockholm, over the other reports, which (as usual on the internet) probably go back to one source.

Just quickly checked out this thread, and GE, and as I see, the oldest satellite image is from 2008 in the area and even some parts are missing so it would be impossible to find a situation from 2006 it seems to me.

... it would be impossible to find a situation from 2006 it seems to me. if you (from F&G) speak like this, I'd rather start to be afraid... -I thought we should locate the scene somehow (the roads, the junctions, plantation pattern, an other source...) ouch...):
