Following a spanish article about strange geoglyphs in Morocco, I made my research on GE and this is what I found :

Giant crescent shaped figures were first reported by spanish pilots when Spain were occupying western sahara in the 60s. From these reports , various 'paranormal" hispanophone websites went into implying they were related to Peru or to ETs. But it took me not too long to find that french researchers made a more serious attempt to find out what they were : funerary monuments. The monuments are in fact a type of tumulus ( ancient tomb ) found only in the Sahara region and they are reported as far as in Niger. But the moroccan ones are very unique because of their size ' reaching 100 meter and above, and the ease to find them because they are always on top of flat plateaus and close to major rivers ( oued ). Searching on GE I found more than 50. Nearly all of them are associated with tumulus. And I found also dozens of necropolis with hundreds of tumulus , some of them being very large in size. Most of them seem to be unvisited and unknown .
According to the french researchers , the builders were the proto berbers , ancestors of the actual berbers (my ancestors ) during the neolithic and Iron age period.
The mystery is all are pointing to the West. Some suggests the ancient people were worshipping the sun and the moon and that it have to do with this. Also those who are closest to the ocean are so perfectly done that they can only be fully contemplated from above. There are surely hundreds to be discovered yet .
